Project Directions:
Your goal as a group is to conduct a survey of people at Manzanita. The
question you will ask others around
our school is:
What do YOU want to see more of at
Manzanita Elementary?
You will find the answer to the question by making and giving people at our school a survey. You will give the people you survey 5
choices. In your group, you need to
decide on the five acts people can choose from in your survey.
Ideas include:
Picking up trash, resolving arguments nicely, using manners, being respectful to adults, less bullying, helping others, having patients, or ___???____.
Once you have decided on your five survey
choices, the recorder will write them in the bottom part of your bar graph.
Like this:
Now the fun begins! At recess, your group needs to try to survey at least 10 people. When you ask each
person, be sure to record their answer on the bar graph.
6. Now that you have head the directions, work together as a team to complete each part of the project step by step as you follow your teacher's directions. Be proud of the work you do and try your best!
